Summary

Zhamë does not operate its own servers and does not collect, sell, or share your data. If you subscribe to Zhamë Pro, your collection, wishlist, timing runs, and wear history are synced across your devices using Apple's iCloud, inside your own private iCloud account — Zhamë itself never has access to this data. There is no separate Zhamë account or sign-in beyond the Apple ID you already use for iCloud, and the app includes no analytics or advertising.

What the app stores

All of this is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device SwiftData storage. If you're a Zhamë Pro subscriber, it is also synced via iCloud, in your own private iCloud database, so it's available on your other devices. Either way, it is never sent to any server run by us, because we don't have any.

Camera and photo access

If you grant camera or photo library access, it is used only so you can attach a photo to a watch or wishlist item you add. Photos you choose are saved with that item's data on your device and are not shared with us or anyone else.

Magnetometer access

The Check Magnetization feature reads your device's built-in magnetometer to help you tell whether a watch has been magnetized. This reading is processed entirely on your device, is not stored, and is not transmitted anywhere.

Insurance report (Pro)

The Pro insurance report lets you optionally enter your name, address, and policy number to print on the generated PDF. These details are stored only in this app's local settings on your device — we do not store them, they are excluded from iCloud sync, and we do not share them with anyone. They appear only in the PDF file you generate, which is sent only if and to whomever you choose using your device's share sheet.

Third parties

Zhamë does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only outside party involved at all is Apple: for Zhamë Pro subscribers, iCloud syncs your data within your own private iCloud account, and the App Store handles subscription purchases. We don't collect payment details, and we don't have access to your synced data ourselves.

Deleting your data

You can remove your data at any time by deleting items within the app. If you're not a Zhamë Pro subscriber, deleting the app itself also removes everything, since it only ever lived on that device. If you are a Pro subscriber, your data also lives in your own private iCloud account, so deleting the app removes the local copy but not your iCloud copy — delete items within the app first, or manage your iCloud data from your device's Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage.
